New battle against the iTunes 9
We received a lot of feedback that i-funbox stops working after iTunes 9 installed. The problem is that the Apple Mobile Device Support is also updated with iTunes 9 upgrading. After a quick check, we found the device is detected but fails to connect to AFC service on iPhone, on which file system access is based. It seems some communication protocols are changed on the application level.
We are investigating ways for workaround.
We just find the problem is that the internal signature of the string representation has been changed in the new release of iTunes 9 as well as Apple Mobile Device Support. We have fixed the problem by assigning the signature with the new standard. We are now testing the fix-up with previous versions of iTunes and will release a new version within 8 hours.
I decide to add Favorites feature that the user can add its own shortcut. So, the new release postponed to after next 12 hours.
iFunbox V0.9.257.241 is released, all localized versions are updated.

thank you sosososoosososoosososo much i hate apple they are pricks, i only have an ipod just to hack it, thanks for trying to fix the problem as i cant wait to see what you guys can do. If I were you I’d check your CFString implementation. Or use preinstalled one from “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\CoreFoundation.dll” (iTunes9 only)…

Hooray! I seriously found iFunBox about a week before iTunes 9 was released and absolutely LOVE the tool. Figures I only get to use it for a week before Apple breaks it. Hehe.

First thanks for the hard Work!!! I really love the Programm.
One thing I would ask for is, can you implement Copy and Paste right in the Programm?
Right now it´s a little complicated to first copy it to the computer and upload it again.

I’m sorry, but I didn’t understand one thing. With this program I can see in my Iphone just like an explorer with ALL the folders access??? I can change ringtones, sms tone, mail tone etc etc?? I can transfer my document’s just like it is an Hard Disk?? Without limitations?? Thks

i’m still on itunes 8(didn’t want to take any chances).i installed the latest version of ifunbox but i have a problem!i have a 2g,16gig iphone (jailbroken,unlocked) when i plug in my iphone ifunbox reads everything eccept the ipod .it says database cannot be read.i can still get to the movies and music through the raw file system but it’s annoying. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

funbox says that my itunes database, on the ipod, is not recognized…
iphone 3GS - 3.1.2 ( blackra1n Jailed )
win 7 64bit - iTunes 9.0.2
winXP 64bit - iTunes 8.2.1.6
both itunes can recognize the database
